Site of the Week: Travel for Kids

Before we had children, my husband and I used to imagine the family vacations we'd take one day, introducing our offspring to  places we loved and discovering destinations that would be completely new to all of us. These were romantic visions, full of Kodak moments and non-stop fun, building memories that would last a lifetime. Now that we're parents, those rosy visions are tempered by the reality that anyone who has traveled with kids eventually encounters - traveling with children presents unique challenges that can sometimes feel so overwhelming that staying home starts to sound really good.

Luckily, the site Travel for Kids exists to rekindle that wanderlust with lots of great practical tips on how to make family trips easier and more fun for everyone. It offers planning advice (where to stay, what to take, getting passports, staying safe and much more), guides that highlight kid-friendly activities in several countries and major cities, and book lists - both fiction and non - to get the kids reading about their destination, whetting their appetites to learn and experience even more. Travel for Kids is Cozi's pick of the week for a site that might be of interest to families using the Cozi free online family calendar.
