Hello. I'm a member and drawn to Cozi...perhaps because it seems to "cozi" up the already existing features that I already have via Windows, almost targeting women. HOWEVER, I'm having a hard time explaining to others why they'd want to join when everything is already available on your computer. My question: what does cozi offer over what's already available via Windows Calendar & features (photo slide show included). I'm all for streamlining life/staying organized/focused/inspired/positive/healthy/doing good deeds/being creative with the kids/keeping a happy/harmonious home. I would love to have one place to find all this. Well, I do... the computer..via Windows Calendar & email broadcasts/websites.

You know what I'd like to see is the option to have someone receive a reminder, even if they are not included in the activity. For instance, if my son has chess club, I want my husband reminded to pick him up. It doesn't need to be on his calendar since it's not his activity.

Simply, I'd like to have a reminder sent to my son and my husband, but only click on my son as the person the activity is for.

Thanks

Thanks for the suggestion! With the example you mention, you could consider adding your husband to the appointment, since he's a part of it as far as picking your son up. Or, you could create a separate appointment for your husband, just for the pick up, and add a reminder to that appointment. If you ever want to add a reminder for someone who's not listed on the appointment, but don't want to go back to add him in, you can just add him to the reminder list for the appointment, and he'll automatically be added to the appointment and receive a reminder.

Thanks for the great question, Sonia! You're correct that there are other online calendars, photo slide shows and to do lists available out there. But what sets Cozi apart, the thing that makes Cozi special, is that Cozi is specifically dedicated to families and brings all these features together in one place. In fact, Cozi's primary mission is to simplify life for busy families by providing an easy to use way for families to keep up with appointments and lists, coordinate home and work schedules, and share favorite memories and photos all in one solution. While other programs might include a calendar or a list feature, Cozi is unique in being a one-stop family organizer that includes all these elements in one solution. Anyone in the family can access Cozi from work, home or on the go, with any computer or mobile phone. And, in keeping with our mission to simplify family life, Cozi is designed to be quick and easy to use for everyone in the family, with no downloads required. That means families can be up and running and getting things organized and coordinated right way with Cozi. I hope this helps to answer your questions. If you still have any questions about Cozi, please let us know, or write to us directly at help@cozi.com. Thanks again for your question, and for your interest in Cozi!

A nice option would be to have the choice of whether to send it to email, phone or both if a phone number is entered.
