Good News for Web and Mac Users of Cozi Central

Families can now update their family photo and household information via the Web version of Cozi Central. While this improved functionality will benefit all Cozi Central families, it is especially good news for those who for one reason or another, do not have access to a PC running the full version of Cozi Central. Up until last Wednesday, using the PC version was the only way to add or change the family photo, family name, and information about family members. Since a family couldn't get up and running with Cozi Central via the Web, anyone who couldn't or didn't want to download and install the PC software was out of luck. Making families feel unlucky is not our business, and we want everyone to be able to use Cozi Central, so we made that functionality available in the Web version. :)

Cozi Donates to Children's Foundation

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Cozi/Starlight Starbright promotion! Because of your efforts, Cozi is donating $2,500 to the Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation. We look forward to increasing our contribution in the future so that we may continue to improve the lives of seriously ill children and their families.

Charity Challenge Continues

Cozi Contributes to Starlight Starbright

We're pleased to announce that Cozi will donate $1 to the Starlight Starbright Children’s Foundation for each family who uses Cozi Central between now and December 31, 2006.  Learn more about this holiday gift, and spread the word to friends and family who might be interested in getting organized and making a charitable gift at the same time.

Sign-up Problems Corrected

This past weekend our Web site erroneously told some families who were signing up for Cozi accounts that their email addresses were invalid. Our engineers investigated this problem and fixed it, and they are putting systems in place to more quickly detect and correct similar issues in the future.  We regret the inconvenience to any families who were affected by this issue, and encourage you to sign-up now that the problem has been fixed.

Improved Web access to Cozi Central

Joanna, one of Cozi's software developers (and a mother of two!) has been hard at work improving Web access to Cozi Central. Web access is now much faster and more responsive, and is more similar to the PC version of Cozi Central in many ways. (You still can't change your family's settings through the Web version of Cozi Central, so you'll still want to have Cozi Central installed on at least one of your family's PCs.)

Cozi Central is Faster

At Cozi we are always working to respond to feedback from families and to improve Cozi Central.  Toward this end, we've already made several enhancements to the PC version of Cozi Central, the most significant of which is faster performance when leaving the Cozi Collage screensaver and when starting Cozi Central.   

To make sure you have the latest version of Cozi Central PC, run Cozi Central from the Windows Start menu.  Then click the Settings button in the More section of the home page.  On the left-hand side of the settings page, you will see a version number.  As of today, the latest version is 1.0.1003.0.  If you don't have the latest version, you can obtain it automatically by closing Cozi Central, and then restarting it.
